A spreading, deciduous shrub with a vase-like habit, reaching a height of about 2.5m. Broadly oval green leaves turn vibrant shades of red, orange and yellow in autumn. Spidery blooms of copper-orange, tinged with red are slightly scented and appear on the bare branches from December to February
