A compact, deciduous shrub to 50cm high, with dense foliage of small, golden lemon-yellow leaves, turning to orange and red in the autumn. Clusters of small, violet-pink flowers appear in summer. Leaves will turn more of a greenish-yellow colour if grown in the shade
