A hardy, self-fertile deciduous shrub or tree to around 2.5m in height, with rounded, lobed aromatic green foliage. Round, sweet and aromatic greenish-brown fruits appear in the autumn, ripening to purple with red inside. Although hardy and vigorous, this variety does not tend to get out of control
