A slow-growing, evergreen shrub to around 1.5m in height in 10 years, a metre or so higher over a longer period, with oval, scaly dark green foliage, grey-green on the undersides. Clusters of lightly fragrant, funnel-shaped mid-purple flowers with darker spotting are produced in loose clusters at the tips of the stems from mid to late spring

Cultivation

Propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in late summer, or by grafting in winter
