A dwarf, compact, mound-forming deciduous shrub to around 40cm in height, with thick stems and long, tapered, grey-green leaves. Dense clusters of rich-red flowers appear in abundance from summer through until the autumn. A great choice for smaller or urban gardens in a pot or in a small border, where it won't encroach on other plants. Drought-tolerant once established
