Geranium pratense 'Spinners'
A clump-forming, herbaceous perennial with green, often red in autumn, deeply-incised, lobed foliage, on stems to 90cm (30in) high and across. In summer, rich purple-blue flowers with a small white centre and darker veins appear in profusion above the foliage.

Grow in any moderately fertile soil apart from waterlogged soils. For best growth and flowering, plant in full sun or partial shade.
Propagate by division in spring. This can be done every three or four years to keep the plant vigorous and productive.
Remove spent flowered stems and old leaves to encourage the production of fresh leaves and flowers. Remove old, dead foliage in spring before growth commences
May be susceptible to vine weevil, geranium sawfly, slugs and snails
May be susceptible to Powdery mildews, downy mildews and a virus
