A large, evergreen shrub with a relaxed sprawling habit. The leaves are lance-shaped and dark green in colour. Brilliant yellowy green flowers are followed by yellow capsules, which are uniquely covered in spikes and resemble little yellow hedgehogs dangling in the breeze
