An evergreen azalea to about 75cm high, with a compact, spreading habit, and small ovate leaves that open bright green and mature to dark green. Produces clusters of 2-4 large, double, light pink flowers, with ruffled edges to the petals and faint purple-pink spots, in late spring. A Robin Hill hybrid, part of a collection bred in the USA around the 1940s and 50s, to improve the hardiness of the larger flowered Satsuki hybrids
