An early-season, cooking apple with large, greenish-yellow fruit flushed and striped with red, and crisp, tart, juicy flesh that cooks to a well-flavoured, pale yellow puree. A moderately vigorous, spreading tree with attractive blossom, this cultivar requires a pollinator from group 2, 3 or 4. Fruit is ready to pick in early autumn and keeps for a couple of weeks
