Shrubs
A vigorous evergreen shrub to 1.2m high, with a dense, arching habit, thorny stems and spiny, glossy dark green leaves that are pale grey-green beneath. Produces pale golden yellow flowers to 1.5cm across in late spring, followed by blue-black berries in autumn. Foliage turns red in autumn and winter
