Housed in the new Kildare Hall, the Festival of Houseplants includes workshops hosted by industry experts, botanical displays and exhibits and lots of shopping opportunities.

There’s everything you need to create and care for your indoor oasis, from stylish pots, planters and hanging baskets, to growing mediums, lights and feeds.

As well as plants and advice direct from the growers, there are gardening influencers and instagramers on hand, bringing the latest themes and trends in decorating your home with plants.

Courses and workshops

  • Interactive living soils with Liquid Gold Leaf (stand 943) Thursday – Sunday. Discover the hidden life of soil and learn about the incredible world of beneficial microorganisms and their symbiotic relationships​.
  • Houseplant 101 with Sarah Gerrard-Jones, aka The Plant Rescuer Thursday – Sunday. Sarah leads a Q&A table along with other experts, offering practical, interactive demonstrations designed to address all your plant care queries.
  • Drop-in Kokedama Workshop with Jungalist (stand 907) Thursday – Sunday, £10 – £20. Learn the Japanese art of creating beautiful hanging moss-balls, to keep or for a perfect gift.
  • Terrarium Making Workshop with Ben Newell from Worcester Terrariums (pre-book only)  Friday – Sunday, £50. Build your own mini greenhouse, from chosing the right growing medium to selecting plants. Take home your creation and the skills to make it thrive. All materials are provided. Book a place.
