Terrence Higgins Trust

World Child Cancer UK has the mission to create a world where every child with cancer has equal access to the best treatment, no matter where they live in the world.

The design and plants within the World Child Cancer’s Nurturing Garden reflect the charity’s inclusive, holistic and nurturing approach to caring for and treating children with cancer, where through our partnerships and communities, we work towards our mission of improving diagnosis and access to treatment for children with cancer around the world.

World Child Cancer’s Nurturing Garden serves as an educational tool for children and adults to learn about sustainable gardening practices and create a deep connection between children and the natural world, whilst the garden’s playful, sensory and protective design has been created especially to support children who have cancer and act as a platform to shine a light on the unequal access to cancer diagnosis and care in lower and middle-income countries.
