There are plenty of things to see and do to keep the whole family entertained at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park
Find an abundance of inspiration in our glorious gardens. See planet-friendly gardening ideas with the BBC Radio 2 and The One Show’s Sow, Show and Grow Garden, or head to the Greener Front Gardens for creative ways to turn uninspiring spaces into uplifting and sustainable plots.
Stock up on ideas to beautify your borders with the cleverly designed and accessible Greener Borders and see how gardening benefits our mental, physical and social wellbeing with the RHS Vitamin G Garden.
Get gardening and floral know-how from our experts, see mouth-watering demos from culinary pros, and take part in hands-on workshops. Hear from the ‘Twitter king of big veg’ Gerald Stratford, be inspired by broadcaster Arit Anderson and see the Mancunian winner of BBC Two’s Great British Menu, Adam Reid, cook up a storm.
Seed-sowing and herb-planting workshops can be found in the Homestead area, and over the weekend head to Earth’s Riches for insightful demonstrations exploring the wonders of soil and compost.
Surround yourself in beautiful blooms and shop from some of the UK’s finest growers at the Plant Village and Floral Marquee. Immerse yourself in a floral forest at the Flower School where expert florists will also be showing how you can create your own fabulous displays at home.
From the Wednesday to the Friday be inspired to grow-your-own with the Summer Fruit & Veg Competition displaying the finest locally-grown produce.
The whole family will find something to delight in. Little ones can take part in tree-mendous activities, collect seeds to grow at home and take part in hands-on workshops.
Fascinating talks about the benefits of herbs, the wonders of compost and the mysteries of the night sky promise to entertain older children and adults too.
Enjoy upbeat rock ‘n’ roll, western swing and ukulele melodies from professional musicians performing at the Bandstand, and shop ‘til you drop with a treasure trove of horticultural boutique shopping experiences including Country Living and Botanical Design.
Take a moment to rest and recharge with delicious food and drink, whether it’s brunch, lunch or afternoon tea at the D’Vine Restaurant or something delicious from the food courts dotted around the showground.
The Royal Horticultural Society is the UK’s leading gardening charity. We aim to enrich everyone’s life through plants, and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place.
