Herbaceous Perennial
A short-lived perennial to around 70cm in height, producing large, flat, open rosettes of woolly, grey-green leaves with a rusty tinge in spring. Strong racemes of yellow flowers with orange anthers open on dense spikes over a long flowering period in summer. Makes a great architectural plant, even with just the leaves and no flowers
