A compact tree requiring mild, sheltered conditions. Young branches are covered in white woolly hairs; leaves to 15cm long are made up of 4-8 pairs of oblong leaflets and white flowers arranged in flat-topped clusters are followed by small, elliptic, glossy green fruits that ripen to crimson
