Aesculus assamica
Assam buckeye
A medium sized deciduous tree with large glossy palmate leaves on long stems. They open bronze and become green, then orange - yellow in autumn. Flowers are creamy white with a yellow throat turning maroon followed by conkers in a thornless leathery case.
