Alnus cremastogyne
A fast-growing deciduous tree to 40m. The leaves are quite large - up to 15cm long, strong and green, on long stems. The female flowers are single green cylinders which hang from the branches. They show no autumn colour, the leaves simply dropping whilst still green in autumn
