The RHS Libraries all have excellent collections relating to apples, covering everything from the history of apple cultivation, specialist monographs and general advice books. RHS members can borrow books and everyone can visit and browse. Access to our rare books, archives and art collections is by appointment. Our library team will be happy to help you find what you need.

Join the RHS Fruit Group

The RHS Fruit Group, which operates from RHS Garden Wisley, was formed for members who enjoy growing tree fruit. The Group provides a place for discussion on fruit subjects with other enthusiasts, as well as opportunities to attend a wide range of events around the UK including lectures, guided visits and workshops. The Fruit Group Newsletter, published three times a year, contains details of events, advice, news and growing experiences, and opportunities to attend guided visits, seminars and workshops.
