If you've ever wanted to make a willow basket but have not known how to start, this lovely round basket, great for a small shopping trip, is the perfect project. Created especially for beginners, you will learn some traditional English techniques and use willow grown on the Somerset Levels to create your own basket. At the end of the day, you will be able to take home your completed round basket!

With over a decade of teaching experience, full time basketmaker Sarah Le Breton is incredibly passionate about sharing her heritage craft. As well as making a lovely and useful basket today, Sarah's aim is to enthuse, energise and inspire you.

When not teaching, Sarah can be found in her workshop in Mid-Devon, handcrafting work that marries heritage basket forms and traditional English techniques with innovative ideaas, creating stylish products fpr modern living.
