A compact, narrowly upright, deciduous shrub, to 90cm tall and 45cm wide. Yellow-green leaves are flushed red in spring and become variegated in summer with splashes of creamy-white before turning shades of orange and red in autumn. Yellow spring flowers are followed by red fruits
