A slow-growing evergreen shrub or tree to a height of up to 5m but often kept smaller used as an alternative to box for shaping into topiary balls. The leaves are tiny, glossy and dark green, and the flowers are white, appearing in late spring followed by black berries if there is a male Japanese holly present for pollination

How to Grow

Cultivation
