A climbing, dwarf annual pea to 75cm in height with green leaves, grown for pea shoots. May also be grown to full size if you wish it to produce maincrop peas, with white flowers developing into pods . Grow in a container, window box with chard, mizuna or rocket as a delicious and nutritious cut- and-come-again combination

Cultivation

Sow seed quite densely, in full sun in well-drained but moisture-retentive soil. Provide support such as twiggy hazel sticks or netting for them to climb up. Cut regularly to encourage new growth.
