A deciduous, compact shrub growing to 90cm (3ft) high and wide, making it ideal for growing in pots and flower borders. Bears simple, opposite, apple-green serrated foliage and panicles of relatively large, pale pink flowers in May to July, which have a darker, purple-pink stain on the tips of the petals.

Cultivation
Grows well in any fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Tolerant of acid, neutral and alkaline soils.
