A deciduous, bushy upright shrub about 60cm in height, with deep pink stems bearing dark green leaves with pink veins held in whorls of three. Flowers, produced through the summer and autumn, are single, with petals shiny and scarlet and the corolla tube is white with some red veining at the base of the petals

Cultivation
