A bushy deciduous azalea, to 2m tall, with small dark green leaves, turning yellow or orange in autumn. Fragrant flowers in lax trusses of up to 14 funnel-shaped flowers, each 4cm wide, are brilliant orange-red with a strong orange blotch and long orange stamens, in late spring
