  • Genus Corylopsis are deciduous shrubs or small trees, with simple, toothed leaves and nodding racemes of small, usually fragrant, bell-shaped pale yellow flowers in early spring

  • Details C. pauciflora is a slow-growing medium-sized deciduous shrub with ovate leaves tinged red when young, and fragrant, pale yellow, bell-shaped flowers in short drooping racemes
