'Mouse Capades' is a compact, clump-forming perennial to 20cm high with nearly rounded, blue-green, wavy and twisted leaves with broad, creamy-yellow margins to 5cm long. Pale purple flowers are borne on short stems in summer
H. sieboldii is a small, compact, clump-forming perennial. Leaves are narrow, lanceolate, to 15cm in length with mid-green centres and narrowly-edged with white. Funnel-shaped, lavender-coloured flowers, on stems to 60cm, appear in mid to late summer
'Gilt Edge' is an evergreen tree of dense, broadly columnar habit, with dark green, oblong leaves with a fine, pale yellow border, and saucer-shaped white flowers, 5cm across, in early to mid-summer
'Burrow Silver' is an evergreen perennial with narrow, cream-edged, green leaves and large, showy clusters of similarly variegated flower bracts, containing small green-yellow, flowers from early spring to mid summer
'Cabaret' is a tall, clump-forming grass up to nearly 2.5m high. The dark green leaves, up to around 32mm wide, have a broad central white stripe and are topped in the autumn by coppery-pink flowerheads that turn a silver colour as they mature
'Tandara Gold' Is a large, bushy, evergreen shrub or small tree with black stems and small, thin, leathery, yellow-green leaves with irregular, dark green margins. May produce small clusters of tiny, scented, dark purple flowers in late spring and early summer
'China Rose' is a cultivar with burgundy serrated leaves with a vibrant dark pink splash down the centre of each; their downy covering lends a soft, grey sheen
'Painter's Palette' is a clump-forming perennial to 90cm tall, with ovate leaves to 15cm long, boldly and irregularly splashed with yellow, and with a central deep red chevron; wispy spikes of tiny greenish flowers open in late summer and early autumn
'Mrs J.C. Mappin' is an erect plant to 45cm with grey-green leaves edged with creamy-white, and small clusters of single white flowers with salmon-pink eye
