Tree House Garden

Show Gardens

The Victorian-style stumpery garden takes its inspiration from the Malvern Hills and the Victorian spa town, but with a contemporary twist.

The rising platforms that the visitor climbs to reach the tree house above wrap around two gnarly poplar trees and reference a climb up the hills. Once on the platform they create a feeling of floating over the garden.

The tree house, with its octagonal shape and pointed roof, is inspired by St Ann’s Well, situated in a wooded valley above Great Malvern, and a popular spot for ‘taking the waters’ in Victorian times.

In the naturalistic woodland garden beneath is a wood-fired hot tub, a nod to the Victorian spa era.
