The design of this artistic garden is inspired by the poem ‘No Man Is An Island’ by British poet John Donne, as well as the natural scenery of Korean islands.
The central island symbolises both nature and people as interconnected islands. The glacier-shaped sculptures made of mixed-recyclable materials and marine debris and the reflective water surface, create an almost surreal atmosphere.

The iceberg floating on the surface of the water symbolises the appearance of the problem, but the volume of the iceberg under the water is actually much larger than what appears on the surface.
The design chimes with global environmental issues, suggesting no one is an island. No matter which country or region we come from, each of us is a closely connected community with a shared future.
