There are several judged categories across the show, each with their own set of criteria. Show gardens represent the pinnacle of garden design
Feature Gardens The RHS Pollywiggle Garden, The RHS Crafted from Nature Garden and The RHS Royal Legacy Garden showcase local history and culture, with plenty of design inspiration for you to take home to your own spaces.
The Grow Forward Gardens apply the latest in horticultural design research and development; to empower visitors to understand how and why garden design can both mitigate against climate change and improve landscapes
If you are looking for inspiration for your beds at home, head for the Long Borders. Every design is packed with exciting plant combinations, and this year’s theme is problem solving

Take a tour of the Floral Marquee and see which medals have been awarded to the incredible exhibits. The Master Grower will be Peter Beales Roses and takes pride of place among the many specialist growers offering their advice along with an array of beautiful plants

Make a bee-line for the Flower School where fabulous Floristry tablescapes and pedestals are created by highly skilled floral artists

There’s something for every family member at the show, with plenty of space for little ones to run around. There’s lots to do all around the show, from trails and facepainting to games and activities
See young people and community groups turn their hand to garden design with the Upcycled Containers
Junior visitors can enjoy the fun in the Fruit and Summer Vegetable Competition marquee. Budding young designers should bring their fruit or veg entry (one per person) to the marquee before 12noon on any day. Staff will register the entry and they will be judged by Sandringham gardeners before 1pm, when medals and feedback will be given
‘Leaf letters’ to The King And Queen – children can learn about leaf shapes and choose a leaf to write a message on to the royal couple, posting it in one of the ‘Leaf letter’ post boxes at the show
Imaginations can run wild in the Smoby Children’s Village, where little ones can explore sustainably made playhouses and outdoor toys. Don’t miss the new Mud Cooking House, perfect for curious, creative children who love to explore nature and the great outdoors
