Winter is an important garden season when many deciduous plants need careful pruning to get the best from them over the year ahead. There's also important work to do keeping beds in good order, from cutting back tired perennials to mulching and digging out perennial weeds. This course covers important tasks such as rose and wisteria pruning, pruning late-summer flowering shrubs such as buddleia, renovating overgrown shrubs and hedges, and formative pruning of woody plants.

The course is taught outside so come prepared for the weather.
