Step into the festive traditions of the Victorian era at RHS Garden Wisley. In this relaxed, hands-on
workshop, you’ll create a selection of classic Christmas decorations and gifts to take home and enjoy
throughout the season, inspired by historic seasonal crafts and natural materials.
Over two and a half hours, you’ll learn how to make ornate tin decorations, fragrant pomanders, beeswax
candles, gilded nuts and traditional Christmas crackers. Along the way, we’ll explore the heritage and
creative techniques behind these much-loved crafts, connecting you with the traditions of Christmas past.
This in-person workshop includes refreshments and offers a warm, welcoming space to get
creative. It’s ideal if you’re looking to develop your skills and add a handmade, personal touch to your
Christmas.
