Trees
A deciduous tree to around 5m in height, much more in favourable conditions, with a conical to rounded habit and feathery, mid to dark green, lance-shaped leaves, blue-green on the undersides, turning fiery yellow and orange in autumn. Flat clusters of white flowers appear in late spring, followed by bright red fruit in early autumn, loved by birds
