An older, well-established cultivar which forms a large spreading bush. Produces a heavy crop of currants from mid-July to early-August. Sweet, juicy fruits are good for desserts or preserves and freeze well. Blackcurrants are self-fertile and produce insignificant yellow-green flowers in spring.
