A fairly vigorous upright bush. A late season blackcurrant producing good crops of small to medium blackcurrants that are particularly good for juice and wine making, but also suitable for desserts and preserves. Late flowering so usually escapes frost damage in spring. Blackcurrants are self-fertile and have clusters of insignificant yellow-green flowers in spring. Shows good resistance to mildew.
