The Explore Charleston Garden

Show Gardens

The garden celebrates the naturally biodiverse and environmentally important wild wetland areas of Charleston, steeped in cultural history. English formality and the traditional pocket gardens found in this beautiful city.

Wander through manicured hedges and symmetrical patterns, evoking classic English gardens before seamlessly transitioning into the serene, free-flowing beauty of Lowcountry grasses and flora.

The garden pays homage to the pocket gardens of Charleston with reclaimed materials, handmade brick and wrought iron. The centrepiece of the formal garden is a classical antique water feature inspired by the iconic Chapel Street Fountian.

The harmonious coexistence of two distinct styles reflects Charleston's versatile landscapes, a blend of tradition and innovation with beauty in every turn.
