Get Set, Grow! Episode One

In this first episode, Bhupinder guides you through preparing your growing space, planting strawberries and chitting potatoes

Beginning with a run-through of the tools you’ll need, Bhupinder shows what we’ll be planting and where throughout the series. Then looking at how to clear and prepare your soil, this first episode puts you in great stead for getting started with Get Set, Grow!

By the end of this episode you’ll be prepared to plant your very first crop – strawberries – and you’ll have your seed potatoes chitting, ready for getting them in the soil in the coming weeks.

What you’ll need for Episode One

We’ve made a list of all the gardening tools, plants and seeds Bhupinder is using in the first episode of Get Set, Grow! We’ve included links to the RHS Shop so you can take a closer look or order anything you need, if you like. You may have some of these items already. Remember, you don't need to buy everything and you might be able to borrow some tools.
