Get Set, Grow! Episode Nine

Feed your squashes and courgettes and discover our top tips for harvesting crops like chard, peas, beans and broccoli

It’s an exciting time at your plot as lots more crops will be ready to harvest now, or in the coming weeks. Follow Bhupinder’s harvesting techniques for beans, peas, chard, courgettes and broccoli and you’ll soon be ready to enjoy your delicious, home-grown vegetables.

You may also encounter powdery mildew in the coming weeks, especially on squash and courgette plants. As Bhupinder explains in this Get Set, Grow! episode, powdery mildew is unavoidable later in the season but watering and removing damaged leaves can help.
