I have a particular interest in South African flora and visited South Africa twice to study succulent plants in their natural habitat.
I originally trained in horticulture with the National Trust before moving to the RHS six years ago. I began my career at Wisley working outside with hardy ornamental plants before moving to the glasshouse to specialise in xerophytic (arid tolerant) plants. I have a particular interest in South African flora and visited South Africa in 2010 and 2013 to study succulent plants in their natural habitat.
