My passion for gardening started at a very young age helping my grandfather grow fruit and vegetables on the family farm just outside Naples

I am a Horticultural expert at RHS Garden Wisley. I come from a farming family where my passion for gardening started at a very young age helping my grandfather grow fruit and vegetables on the family farm just outside Naples.

Subsequently I have worked as project manager in plant cultivation and planting design at my father’s nursery and gained a BSc in Plant Production at the University of Naples and an MSc at University of Pisa, where I have worked at the world’s oldest academic botanic garden.

Back in Naples I also worked as a Lecturer to a Horticulture College.  A love of British gardening brought me to the UK where I have studied design and floral display at London`s Greenwich College. I was a horticultural trainee at Chelsea Physic Garden, sponsored by the National Garden Scheme. I also trained at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and Edinburgh before joining Wisley in 2010. I am an energetic international public speaker and coordinator of horticultural and naturalistic study tours and researches.

I am a RHS Specialist Host I have featured trips to the Gardens & Villa of the Italian Lakes and the Eternal Gardens of Rome. My passion covers all the outdoor ornamental plant collections and their use in order to create frightening sustainable displays with particular interest in Mediterranean and exotic looking plants.
