Working in the horticulture industry is incredibly rewarding, especially when you have the privilege to work at Wisley!

I’m a propagation horticulturist at RHS Garden Wisley, looking after the plant reception area in the Propagation Department.

I joined the RHS in August 2012 as a trainee; previously I had worked as a trainee at Oxford Botanic Gardens and undertaken a BSc Hons in Horticulture from the University of Reading. Since joining Wisley I have worked in the propagation and trials teams while finishing my masters in Landscape Management from the University of Sheffield.

As a child I loved making mud pies and discovering nature - during my teens this grew to a fascination with plants and sustainable issues. Working in the horticulture industry is incredibly rewarding, especially when you have the privilege to work at Wisley!
