A bushy, neatly rounded shrub rose with slightly arching growth to 1.2m tall, with healthy green foliage, and small buds, opening to lightly scented, full petalled, open, bright crimson-red rosettes. As the flowers age, the blooms becomes dome-shaped while the colour gradually intensifies, and repeat-flowers through summer to autumn

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation
