A bushy shrub rose 60-70cm tall, which produces masses of double, light pink blooms, in clusters, opening from silky buds, repeat-flowering from summer to autumn. The flowers of this rose are edible, with the subtle flavour of sweet and sour pears, and can be used in salads, cakes or candied to make sweets

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation
