A bushy shrub rose about 1.1m tall, with healthy, semi-glossy mid-green leaves, and bearing well-spaced sprays of lightly fragrant, open, cupped, soft yellow blooms, paling to cream with scallop-shaped, incurved petals and central golden stamens. The early summer flush of blooms is followed by repeat-flowers until late summer

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in full sun and moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. For best flowering apply a balanced fertiliser and mulch in late winter or early spring and a balanced fertiliser again in early summer. Ideal for cut flowers. See rose cultivation for further advice

Propagate by softwood cuttings in early to mid spring, hardwood cuttings in late summer to autumn or by chip budding in summer
