Vigorous old garden rambler rose about 3m tall, with lightish green foliage and few thorns. Clusters of small, sweetly fragrant, double, creamy to pale yellow blooms open to reveal golden stamens, and are produced quite late in summer, repeat-flowering well into autumn; Laffay 1835

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation
