Clusters of loosely formed semi-double blooms of vivid orange, red and yellow are slightly fragrant, produced on short stems, from early to midsummer and occasionally in autumn, good in a little shade

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade and suited to north-facing positions. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation

Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn, softwood cuttings (under glass) in spring or summer or by chip budding in summer
