Rare in cultivation, a very vigorous rambler rose about 6-7m in height, with glossy dark green leaves. Small clusters of fragrant, fully double creamy-white blooms, with a deeper creamy-yellow centre open from pointed buds on short lateral shoots along the strong but pliable branches of the previous years growth in midsummer

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Ideal for growing into a large tree. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation
