A sport of the famous climbing rose 'Zephirine Drouhin', about 2.8m tall, with greyish-green foliage and almost thornless stems. Very fragrant, long flowering, semi-double blooms of palish-pink with a creamy touch at the centre, almost continuously in flower from early summer to autumn, ideal for north-facing shady locations

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade, suited to north-facing locations. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation

Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn, softwood cuttings (under glass) in spring or summer or by chip budding in summer
