Vigorous, upright, old-fashioned rose about 1.2m tall, the stems, flower buds and sepals lightly covered with green moss, and bearing long, lush, mid-green leaves. Clusters of large, very fragrant, fully double, globular, pale pink blooms, the ruffled little petals with a soft, silky texture, reliably repeat-flowering from early summer to autumn; Lévêque 1898

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation
