Vigorous, free-flowering old-fashioned rose about 90cm tall and 75cm wide with soft mid-green foliage. Very fragrant, large, fully double, satin-pink blooms with darker shadings open from large globular buds, repeat-flowering from early summer to autumn; introduced in 1890

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Suited to container cultivation. Mulch with well-rotted organic matter in late winter or early spring, and for best flowering apply a general rose or shrub fertiliser in early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation

Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn, softwood cuttings (under glass) in spring or summer or by chip budding in summer
